A CELEBRATION LIKE NO OTHER
During my time at Wednesday Agency, our team was honored to conceptualize and build the creative foundation for Bloomingdale’s 150th anniversary campaign, “A Celebration Like No Other”. Our team developed various assets starting from establishing the art direction and graphics, to creating logo designs, brainstorming creative in-store and digital activations, and so much more. We also developed the holiday seasonal assets to wrap up the festive and celebratory year!
I participated in many aspects of the whole campaign such as reimagining the iconic “Big Brown Bag” and assisting in all the creative concepts throughout the 3-phase roll-out to celebrate Bloomingdale’s milestone.

150th Content Hub
We wanted to find a home where all the teaser content celebrating our 150 years will be housed in one place for viewers to look through aside from social channels. So we ideated a content hub where all 150 individual content pieces will be aggregated on our site, where content can be navigated either with the 150 scroll or by viewing thumbnails of all 150 content pieces at once in a grid format. Visitors will be greeted with the campaign manifesto before exploring the content and also find the countdown to the big day!
Festive Graphic Elements
Bold, celebratory shapes in metallic gold, this geometric system harks back to Bloomingdale’s trademark checkerboard pattern. These graphic elements were designed to be added on any assets such as packaging, bags, or emails to add a festive touch.

In-Store Cheer: Customized Holiday Greetings
We wanted to help shoppers make the season celebratory with 150 pre-set holiday designs for postcards and stickers with optional personalized photos. (FPO Concept)

In-Store Cheer: Gift Locker
To bring surprise and delight for every customer at Bloomingdale’s, we ideated a gift locker containing limited edition souvenirs and featured gifts—a mix of high/low—that can be scooped up with claw machine game, giving small keys to the gift locker!
