In 2023, Meta Quest launched its next headset: the Quest 3. It was set to be a breakthrough headset that brought mixed reality, where the virtual and real world merged. For the campaign, we launched the ‘Expand Your World’ platform, which tapped into the emotional truth of the product: the Quest 3 lets users expand their worlds.
From the launch films to social media posts to the breathtaking OOH billboards, we had the opportunity to build various assets for this global campaign. The launch spot was well praised by the gaming community and was presented at Mark Zuckerberg’s keynote on Meta’s Connect 2023, which brought major hype.
Meta Quest 3 Launch FilmTo launch the highly anticipated Meta Quest 3 VR headset, we needed to show all of its cutting-edge & above-and-beyond capabilities. With Mixed Reality at the forefront, we highlighted all the immersive games, enhanced graphics and interactive features available in the new headset to encourage people to expand their world.
Meta Quest 3 Launch Film: The Instrument‘The Instrument’ is a film that shows a young woman using the Quest 3 to learn to play the piano and eventually perform a memorable song for her grandmother. The song chosen for the film was Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five”, which was adapted to work well with the emotional arch of the film and inside the piano education app.
The film evokes true human connection and shows the significant impact technology can bring to our everyday lives.
The CampaignFor the Meta Quest 3 launch, we crafted a distinctive campaign that highlighted its unmatched capabilities to a global audience. Our goal was to generate excitement not only among dedicated gamers, but also to non-gamers and share the expansive potential of gaming.
The campaign spanned across advertising, engaging social posts and videos, out-of-home billboards, and dynamic launch films. The films had its grand debut at the Meta Connect 2023 conference, where it premiered in front of some of the gaming industry’s most influential developers.
Disruptive 3D OOHTo seamlessy integrate augmented and virtual realities into our world, we showcased a 3D OOH at the heart of New York City in Times Square and brought a stunning visual experience one cannot miss.
